WINNERS ANNOUNCED FOR THE 2023 INTERNATIONAL ARCHITECTURE AWARDS

The International Architecture Awards has once again returned to honor outstanding architectural accomplishments globally in its 18th year. Based in Chicago, these awards highlight exceptional new structures, urban planning ventures, and landscape architecture from the year 2023.

Organized since 2004 by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design in collaboration with The European Center for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies and Metropolitan Arts Press, the International Architecture Awards rewarded global architectural successes for the 18th time this year. Three projects from Türkiye were among the awarded projects in a total of 25 categories: Acıbadem Group Headquarters in the Health and Hospital category, Divan Kuruçeşme project in the Hotel and Accommodation category, and Benesta Benleo Acıbadem project in the Mixed-Use category. This year's awards span various locations from Ethiopia to Tokyo and New York to Nova Scotia, covering 48 different countries.

Simultaneously with the announcement of the Chicago-based awards, the 5th Edition of the Chicago Architecture Biennial is taking place in the city. The biennial, which started in September, had a grand opening ceremony on November 1st. The CAB 5 exhibitions will remain open until February 11, 2024.
