ICONIC HILTON ISTANBUL BOSPHORUS UNDERGOES MAJOR REDESIGN

The iconic Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus, a symbol in Türkiye’s hospitality sector, is undergoing a major redesign inspired by the shared history of the city and the hotel.

Opened as the first modern hotel in Europe after World War II, Hilton Istanbul has witnessed countless historic moments, from a James Bond film starring Sean Connery to Istanbul's first disco in the 1970s. The renovation aims to blend its historic legacy with modern elegance.

The redesign of Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus includes a complete overhaul of rooms, the lobby, restaurants, and other areas. The new lobby, inspired by Sophia Loren’s sapphire necklace, welcomes guests with elegant sophistication. The renovation includes redesigned 38 suites, state-of-the-art rooms, a renewed outdoor pool and health club facilities, a new restaurant with garden terraces, and versatile meeting spaces.

The redesign project pays homage to the hotel’s rich history, reflecting traces of famous guests and significant events. The hotel, which hosted luminaries such as Grace Kelly, Sophia Loren, and Muhammad Ali, continues to be a center of culture, art, and luxury with its renovated jazz bar and spaces designed for both relaxation and business. The renovation project, managed by the renowned design studio Autoban, is expected to be completed in 2025.
