Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan, will be a six-month international exposition from April to October. With the theme “Designing Future Society for Our Lives,” the event explores innovation, sustainability, and human-centred design. Sou Fujimoto’s pavilion — the world’s largest wooden structure — will be a key attraction. The Italian Pavilion hosts the first-ever global edition of the Compasso d’Oro, Italy’s prestigious design award. The event also features sustainable Olympic torches designed by CRA-Carlo Ratti Associati for Milano Cortina 2026.
