LEGO HEADQUARTERS BUILDING BY CF MØLLER ARCHITECTS HAS OPENED

The impressive Lego headquarters building has officially opened in Billund, Denmark. Close to the Lego House visitor center designed by BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group), this stunning 54,000-square-foot office building welcomes 2000 Lego employees.

Imagination, fun, creativity, caring, learning, and quality. CF Møller Architects designed Lego's new headquarters building while staying true to the company's core values. The headquarters consists of eight different blocks, three or four stories high.

Giant versions of Lego bricks adorn the building's exterior. Two oversized Lego bricks stand out, forming the meeting spaces on top of the building. The building even features multiple green roofs and mini-golf courses. The vibrant colors of the stairs salute Lego colors stylishly, where the building blocks are connected. An incredibly modern and functional canteen area is included in the plan, on the circular block projecting from the building.

In the new headquarters called the campus, there is also a large "Atrium" that Lego refers to as "Campus Square." This four-story Atrium is illuminated by skylights and stands out with its wide curved staircases and balconies. Three gigantic Lego bricks covered with the pictures of Lego characters hang from the roof, bringing fun and architecture together in an elegant way. On the ground floor of the other buildings, there is a section called People House, where there are event spaces, a gym, hotel accommodation, and a store.

The headquarters is an essential pillar of a series of new developments built in Billund, where Lego has been based since the 1930s.
