ADDO 2024 RETROSPECTIVE

As we look back at 2024, ADDO’s monthly newsletters showcased significant projects and groundbreaking designs.

Last year, architecture revolved around key themes such as the Paris Olympics, 3D design, restorations, a return to nature, and sustainability. ADDO’s newsletters captured these trends, bringing noteworthy projects and innovations to our readers.

Throughout the year, we highlighted transformative projects reshaping cities and living spaces. In January, we explored Foster + Partners’ VR/AR solutions for accessible design, a recycling house in Belgium, and the transformation of Ankara Palas into a museum. During spring, we covered the Waste to Energy Campus in India and the world’s first 3D-printed mosque in Saudi Arabia. In September, we showcased the 3D façade of the BOSS store and the renewed Türkiye İş Bankası Museum.

ADDO’s designs also stood out throughout 2024. Tanju Özelgin’s TA02 sofa merged comfort with aesthetics, while the Ares executive desk embodied the dynamic nature of the business world. The Bridge collection addressed modern workspace needs, and FLY FABRIC combined elegance with functionality. The NEL executive desk harmonized natural materials with professionalism, and the Gaia collection brought sophisticated combinations to life.

2024 cemented ADDO’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and aesthetics in architecture and design. We look forward to continuing to inspire with new designs and ideas in 2025.
