Daniel Figueroa studied furniture design and interior architecture at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle in Halle/Saale, Germany. The interdisciplinary perspective he developed during his education has formed the foundation of his design approach, enabling him to address the relationship between space, function, and user experience with a holistic view.

AUTOLIFT MECHANISM
Sit well - automatically: The Interstuhl Autolift mechanism uses automatic weight adjustment to adapt to the height and weight of each individual user.
Smart technology in an inconspicuous, flat housing: The Interstuhl mechanism with Autolift system automatically guarantees ideal support. The reaction force of the synchronous movement with fine tuning of the backrest counter-pressure automatically adjusts to the user's weight.
SYNCHRONOUS MECHANISM
Fully adjustable for perfect customization: The Interstuhl synchronous mechanism allows precise adjustment of the backrest's counter-pressure to each user. The Interstuhl synchronous mechanism provides optimal support for the human body in every position. The reaction force of the synchronous movement can be individually adjusted to users and their weight in seven steps. It also encourages users to change their position frequently, promoting active and healthy sitting.
