Tanju Özelgin

From mobile phones to interior design, and from industrial products to digital design, they are a designer who integrates the creative process with both practice and education through multidisciplinary work.

Tanju Özelgin, who graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Industrial Product Design, established his own design office Scala Design in 1987. Between 1987 and 1996, he designed and implemented fair stands, yachts, showrooms, residences, offices, special promotional events, furniture, and industrial products within Scala Design.

In 1996, Özelgin founded Parlak Kırmızı, where he offered industrial product design, digital and video graphics, as well as interior architecture project and implementation services. Since 2005, he has continued his industrial product design and interior architecture project work under TO (Tanju Özelgin Studio).

Tanju Özelgin has been working as a faculty member and project consultant since 1988. In addition, he has participated as a jury member in many competitions, as well as engaged in activities such as exhibition participation and workshop management.
