Mario Trimarchi

It continues to sign prestigious projects worldwide with its design vision and innovative approach.

Mario Trimarchi graduated from the Architecture department together with Franco Purini, with whom he collaborated on some projects in Sicily. Between 1990 and 1993, he served as the Director of the Domus Academy Design Master's Program. Early in his career, he designed ATMs and personal computers at the Olivetti Design Studio. In 1999, he founded the internationally recognized brand design studio FRAGILE with Frida Doveil.

The designer, who developed a unique expressive language in brand, product, and artwork designs, has won prestigious awards such as the Compasso d'Oro, Red Dot Award, and Good Design Award. Additionally, in 2022, he was honored with the Gold Plaque award by the Unione Italiana per il Disegno (UID).

Also active in the academic field, Trimarchi has previously taught Corporate Identity courses at the Genoa Faculty of Architecture. Today, he teaches "Brand Design" at NABA and "Design Thinking" at IULM University.
