TURKEY RETURNED FROM THE AYDA AWARDS WITH AN AWARD!

The AYDA Awards Ceremony, organized by Nippon Paint and open to architecture and interior architecture students for 14 years, was held on July 7 in Penang, Malaysia. Şevval Simruy Baygül and Berk Kesimoğlu from Turkey returned with awards from the AYDA Awards, bringing great pride to our country.

Since 2008, the AYDA Awards has provided a creative and impact-focused platform for architects and designers, and its importance continues to grow. So far, more than 47,000 applications have been received from 1,200 educational institutions across 16 countries in Nippon Paint’s global network. In the AYDA Awards 2021-2022 period, 6,184 applications were received from 15 geographic regions, and 27 individuals advanced to the international finals. The 27 finalists presented their projects at the international jury meetings held on June 22-23.

Turkey’s champions, Şevval Simruy Baygül with the “Eu-topos” project in the architecture category and Berk Kesimoğlu with the “Streethouse” project in the interior architecture category, won the “Nippon Paint Colour Award.” We are so happy and proud of them.
