BOSS İSTANBUL MAĞAZASININ 3 BOYUTLU YENİ YÜZÜ

THE NEW 3D FACE OF BOSS ISTANBUL STORE

The BOSS store located in Istanbul's İstinye Park stands out with its innovative 3D printing technology and sustainable facade design.

This curved showcase facade, created in collaboration with the Ippolito Fleitz Group and technology company Aectual, reflects an innovative and circular design approach by being produced from recycled waste materials. The project brings the fine details of the brand's elegant woven fabrics to the facade using 3D printing technology, making it prominent in Istanbul's dense commercial architecture.

3D printing technology offers high detail and customization options compared to traditional construction methods while also considering environmental sustainability. The facade of the BOSS store consists of 136 unique pieces covering an area of 73 square meters, and these pieces fit together perfectly like a puzzle. The facade design creates constantly changing shadows that interact with natural light, providing both visual dynamism and functional benefits. This interaction with natural light adds another layer to the building, making it a striking structure in the urban environment.

Aectual and BOSS continue their commitment to sustainability in this project as well. The facade, produced with completely recycled bioplastic materials, offers an environmentally friendly solution with less material waste and carbon footprint compared to traditional construction processes. This project showcases the potential of 3D printing technology to produce sustainable and aesthetically innovative solutions in architecture.
