ADDO 2024 RETROSPEKTİFİ

ADDO 2024 RETROSPECTIVE

We are recalling the highlights and designs we covered in ADDO's monthly newsletters in 2024.

Last year, major themes such as the Paris Olympics, three-dimensional designs, restoration projects, a return to nature, and sustainability stood out in the architectural world. ADDO newsletters captured these trends, bringing important projects and innovations to its readers.

Throughout the year, we featured projects that reshaped cities and living spaces. In January, we discussed Foster + Partners' barrier-free designs using VR/AR technology, the recycling house in Belgium, and the transformation of Ankara Palas into a museum. In the spring, we introduced the Waste to Energy Campus waste management project in India and the first mosque built with 3D printing in Saudi Arabia. In September, we presented the 3D facade of the BOSS Store and the renewed face of the Türkiye İş Bankası Museum to our readers.

In addition to these projects, ADDO's product designs also drew attention throughout the year. The TA02 sofa, designed by Tanju Özelgin, combined comfort and aesthetics, while the Ares executive desk brought the dynamics of the business world together with design. The Bridge collection met the needs of modern workspaces, and FLY FABRIC combined elegance and functionality in offices. The NEL executive desk, which blends naturalness with professionalism, and the elegant combinations of the Gaia collection reflected ADDO's innovative vision.

ADDO 2024 has been remembered as an important year highlighting the innovative, eco-friendly, and aesthetic aspects of architecture. In 2025, we will continue to inspire with new designs we will introduce to office life and new topics we will cover in our newsletters.
