2022 DÜNYA SÜRDÜRÜLEBİLİR MİMARLIK ÖDÜLÜ’NDE  TÜRKİYE İMZASI

Turkey's Signature in the 2022 World Sustainable Architecture Award

Among this year's winners of the Global Award for Sustainable Architecture are Yalın Architecture Founding Partners Okan Bal and Ömer Selçuk Baz.

Established in 2006 by architect and academic Prof. Jana Revedin, the Global Award for Sustainable Architecture has been supported by UNESCO since 2010. The award is given annually to five architects who contribute to fairer and more sustainable development by adopting innovative and participatory approaches to meet the needs of society. This year, among the five architects honored with this prestigious award are Yalın Architecture Founding Partners Okan Bal and Ömer Selçuk Baz.

The jury members for the competition were Jana Revedin (Venice), Marie-Hélène Contal (Paris), Deniz İncedayı (Istanbul), Spela Hudnik (Ljubljana), and Jacopo Galli (Venice). The other award recipients are: Martin Rauch (Schlins, Vorarlberg), Anupama Kundoo (Auroville, Berlin), Dorte Mandrup (Copenhagen), and Gilles Clément (Crozant).

The approaches and projects of the award winners will be exhibited at the Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Architecture from October 14, 2022, to January 30, 2023.
